Our 3rd day of Christmas was well spent at Miriam College for 2 whole days. Together with 25 other NGOs, we were part of the National Conference on the Engagement of the Acadame in Volunteering. It was spearheaded by VSO Bahagian, an NGO that specializes in international voluntering; and Miriam College.
We had 97 sign ups for volunteer work from partners and students. Although it doesn’t seem so much, we were happy to engage with students. Our team also got a chance to interact with other volunteer groups and learn from them. Future collaborations very much possible. We look forward in seeing familiar faces in action in our events. 🙂
