Kuya Harvard took the time to be just a volunteer and not go through the process of organizing events. Last February 26 he participated with Make A Wish Foundation to give a wish grant to a kid with cancer, Maurice. Together with a team of 4 others, he met up with wish kid and his family.
Maurice wish was to get a green remote controlled car. Besides just giving that, Make A Wish challenged the team to come up with a creative event. So they decided to do the following:
Pick up the family in PCMC, Philippine Children’s Medical Center in a green car.
Bring them to Max’s for a Filipino treat featuring Maurice favorite foods.
Ride all you can at Fun Ranch which included bump car and go kart racing.
Photo Bingo which was staged so that Maurice can win his wish, a green remote controlled car.
Vice President Ate Te is heavily involved with Make A Wish Philippines. “It’s good to touch base and support your officers other initiatives” says Kuya Harvard.
