222 Magis Deo Celebrates with Little Lights Ministry Pateros

Written by Kuya Harvard

Sharing your life with kids does not require much resources and this was embraced by Magis Deo last July 28. Magis Deo is a Latin phrase which means More for God and is the central theme of the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Their mission is encapsulated in the following: We are a Community of Christian families committed to a life of stewardship, simplicity, sharing, and service.

They only had a budget of Php 5,000. Despite of this, they were able to bless 40 kids from Little Lights Pateros with a morning of games, learning and gifts. We centered the activities on their 4 S- stewardship, simplicity, sharing and service. Each of the 4 games we played were connected to the 4 principles on how we should live a Christian life. This was explained by their volunteers. The games we played were Patintero, Reverse Charades, Spell it Out and Feather Fly. Check out our games in our Create Your Own Event page and have an event with us as well. 🙂
