Kuya Ferdie requested for an event for his birthday. After a series of discussions on what to do, he decided to bless kids with cancer at Philippine Children’s Medical Center. This happened last February 26. “We brought with us 100 stuff toys of different animals”, says Secretary Ate Malou. “Its like bringing a zoo inside the hospital”, she adds.
Kuya Ferdie decided to give stuff toys as he wanted to give comfort and joy to kids suffering from cancer. “When they are having a hard time, they can hug these toys tight or look at them”, he mentions.
It was a short event as we just toured the hospital and gave away stuff toys together with 20 other volunteers. The happiness we got was long though and well worth it! Thanks Kuya Ferdie and Happy Birthday!
