Saturdays are usually spent for relaxation or catching up with family and friends or running some errands. Some of the employees from Globe decided to do something else though. Led by Ate Liezel, her group had their 2nd outreach event with U! Happy Events on this wonderful Saturday.
Our famous bring-me-art game warmed up the volunteers and kids (and the parents of the kids, too!). It surely is one game which will make your bodies pumped up even if you’re all sitting down. The mechanics of the games is simple. Instead of the usual bring-me game, we don’t require the kids to bring the exact item to win. We ask the kids (with the help of the volunteers in cutting) to bring cut-outs of the items. First team to finish the most times wins!
As if the group still needed some pumping up, we brought out our storyteller (Kuya Stephen from Adarna Publishing) and puppeteer (Kuya Mardax) for more entertainment. The kids and their families definitely had a blast with these performers.
So the kids (and their parents) can practice storytelling, the Globe team decided to give away storybooks together with pillows for each kid. Books + Pillows = Good night sleep! 😉
Before leaving Ospital ng Makati, the kids expressed their gratitude to their Ates and Kuyas by giving them warm and tight hugs.
