1st NGO Partners Summit
July 25, 2018
U! Happy, in partnership with AHA! Learning Center, hosted its first NGO Partners Summit on July 25, 2018 at Silver Lotus Building in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The objective of the summit was to provide a venue for various non-profit, non-governmental organizations for knowledge sharing, and exchanging of best practices. The topic of the first summit was online branding.
We had 30 attendees from 14 different organizations including Visions of Hope, Right Start, Gentle Hands, 2KK Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid, Living Faith in Jesus Ministry, Jesus Grace Christians Family Church, Mano Amiga, ECPAT Philippines, Gawad Kalinga Escopa, Bahay Maria, JCI Manila, Little Lights Ministry, and Rehoboth Children’s Home.
The 3-hour program was facilitated by U! Happy’s President, Kuya Glenn Costales.
Kuya Harvard Uy de Baron, U! Happy’s Chairman of the Board, briefly discussed the history of our organization, and its transformation over the past year. Our relationship with our partner NGOs was also reinforced by all parties present.
Ate Toni Nicolas led the discussion on online branding thereafter. Ate Toni is a business coach for online businesses, and a multi-passionate entrepreneur who has ventured into different businesses in the past. She was also a blogger, a social media influencer, and a fitness instructor. The participants were then divided into several breakout groups to create their own online branding plans.
Over lunch, we had the opportunity to network, and to learn more from like-minded individuals who have the same passion for cultural and social revolution.
The next NGO Partners Summit is tentatively scheduled on the first quarter of 2019. If you wish to partake in this event, you may contact us through +63-917-887-4278, or any of our social media accounts.
