263 CCT Pasay Celebrates at Manila Ocean Park

Last Dec. 7, 44 kids from the Center for Community Transformation (CCT) were given the privilege of touring Manila Ocean Park, the country’s first world class marine theme park and educational facility. The tour was sponsored by CCT supporters who reached out to U! Happy Events.

24 U! Happy volunteers came to support the event, and the ates and kuyas were eager to meet the CCT children and tour them around the venue. It was the first time for some of the volunteers to be in Ocean Park, and most were just as excited as the kids!

Before the tour started, the kids, their guardians, and the volunteers were grouped into 4 teams and were given some time to introduce themselves and get to know each other. Soon after, we all went to the first attraction for the tour, which was the Oceanarium. The sharks, stingrays, and various species of fish amazed both children and adult alike. Next stop was the Jellies display, where everyone was treated to a colorful array of jellyfish, which seemed to glow in the dark! The last place we visited was Ocean Park’s newest attraction which was Birds of Prey. The kids, their parents, and U! Happy ates and kuyas got to pose with birds who were freely flying in the air!

After the three attractions everyone trooped back to the entrance for a recap of the day and a group photo opportunity. Everyone were also handed lunch to replenish them after a tiring, yet fun-filled day. The kids, guardians and volunteers soon bid each other goodbye as they headed home–with everyone all smiling from the great and meaningful adventure they got to experience that morning.
