Long time sponsor and our source for professional dancers, Big Shift, hosted a Dance event called Unity in the Dance Community. It was their 4th year of bringing together top dance groups all over the country. The theme this year was Next Gen: Legacy in Motion. Big Shift does this event yearly to showcase talents and provide a venue to encourage more young people to dance and compete with the world.
For the first time in their annual tradition, they integrated a dance workshop for children. We to invite one of our usual beneficiaries, Metro World Child. We got to invite children who are young dance enthusiast. It was perfect time to be guided and learn more from the Philippine’s best.
The venue was at the activity center at Fisher Mall, the newest mall in Quezon City. It also served as a donation area for Metro World Child. Guest and mall goers give freely their gifts in shoe boxes. Kuya Harvard met the manager of the said mall for future partnerships next year. Watch out for that. 🙂
