Ate Nicci Valdez is a long time friend of Kuya Harvard in Victory Church. This year she sought for his help to bless a group of kids and be able to paint at the same time. She had a sudden fascination to paint and got her matched right away with first time beneficiary, Kamuning Elementary School. Twenty five grade 6 students and a number of her friends took part in painting almost a hundred chairs through 3 classrooms.
At the start we had the volunteers and kids acquainted through getting to know questions. We asked everyone to share their names, favorite subject and favorite teacher growing up. We had pass the charades in the theme of animals after. We grouped them into 5 groups. The room became competitive! It was a close fight till the last question.
Thanks to Principal Eloisa Tamon for giving us the opportunity to reach out and help in the school. We will be back here again soon for another event.
