1144 Ate Karl and Colleagues’ Boxing Workshop with Operation Blessing

Written by: Ate Denise Callanta
Boxing has been one of the most popular sport and self-defense activity today. On an extremely hot afternoon of March 17, thirty kids from Operation Blessing had the opportunity to learn boxing as sponsored by ate Karl and her colleagues as an activity that they want to share with their Manager before it leaves the country. The event was made possible with the presence of her colleagues and a few family members of each present.
The event started by the introduction of every volunteer present. After the brief introductions, Ate Karl and her companions were then led to different teams with the children so as to further be acquainted with one another. It was then followed by a beachball relay game where the teamwork of each team was put into test. After the intense head-to-head game, coach Dindo taught us several moves for boxing, which was later on individually performed by every person present in the room. As the exhausting activities come to an end, we were showered with good foods and ice candy to relieve the hot weather.
Every day is always a time of giving and receiving and here at the U! Happy Events, we are always glad to be the bridge between the sponsors who outpour their overflowing blessings to our benefactors. We celebrate your goodness and kindness in every festivity, as you taught us how giving doesn’t have time.
