On Sunday, Baby Ethan celebrated his 3rd birthday with 30 kids from the 2KK community. The parents, Ate Aevon and Kuya Edison, who are usual sponsors of U! Happy’s Create-Your-Own Event chose to celebrate their adorable baby’s birthday in Jollibee- always an excellent choice given that all kids love Jollibee!
The party started with a prayer, then followed by a very entertaining dance number from Jollibee’s very bubbly hosts. You can see that the kids were starting to enjoy the party. After that, the hosts asked the kids to perform some silly moves which made all of them burst into giggles and laughter. The party has really begun.
Now that the kids were pumped up, the hosts proceeded with the party games. Games played that day were “The Boat is Sinking,” “Balloon Relay Race,” and “Plastic Egg Relay Race.” All of these games had a twist which made them more fun. Most of the games were for the kids but there was one game made for our dear ates and kuyas. It was a delight to see that the kids were equally happy when they were participants in the game and when they were just cheering.
The kids were now tired so we took a break and served their afternoon meal. The kids were treated to spaghetti, fries, sundae and iced tea. During this time, the ates and kuyas also took the opportunity to get to know more about the kids from the 2KK community. It was also during this time when three kids from the 2KK community gave their messages to Baby Ethan. Baby Ethan may be really young but we believe he understood what the three kids said as after they gave their message, he gave them hugs. It was a really heartwarming scene.
Of course, a Jollibee birthday party isn’t complete without a visit by Jollibee. The kids were surprised when Jollibee suddenly walked into the room. They jumped out of their seats, shrieked and rushed to Jollibee. Jollibee then performed an impressive dance number which made the kids giddier and happier.
Before we ended the party, Ate Aevon gave a special message to all of us in the room. She thanked U! Happy Events for organizing, her friends and family for coming and the 2KK kids for celebrating with them. After that, she, along with Kuya Edison distributed the baon packs for the kids.
The customary group photo usually signifies the end of the event and true enough, after that, the 2KK kids already said their goodbyes to their Ates and Kuyas. The kids hugged their ates and kuyas and thanked them for a fun afternoon.
Thank U again Ate Aevon and Kuya Edison for choosing to give back as a means to celebrate your baby’s birthday. You really made the kids of the 2KK community happy. They will surely remember this day for a long time.
