U! Happy Events Joins National Youth Congress' NGO Fair

The National Youth Congress (NYC) recently capped off its 14th year of fostering ideas and inspiring progress among high school students from all over the Philippines. The event was a partnership between two of the leading student organizations in the University of the Philippines Diliman – the UP Economics Society (UP ECOSOC), and the UP School of Economics Student Council (UP SESC). The goal of NYC remains in bringing together today’s youth and providing them new experiences and opportunities.

U! Happy Events was invited once again, for the third time and we got to set-up a booth. Our team was able to garner some sign-ups to get our youth to be interns in our upcoming events this Christmas. I, on the other hand, was invited to speak about my volunteer experience, in particular how our group started all the way to its progress today. It was a young crowd of students from different schools and am glad I got to connect with them.
As NYC 18 comes forward, UP ECOSOC and UP SESC promise a more dynamic two-day conference that will continue to inspire and engage young Filipinos to be more involved in our country’s struggles and developments.
