1034 Ramos Family Celebrates with Precious Heritage Children’s Home

It was an early Christmas celebration for the Ramos Family and the kids of Precious Heritage Children’s Home as we all trooped over to Rizal last November 7!
25 kids in this beloved orphanage hurriedly went home after their school time to meet new ates and kuyas – the Ramos family and their friends. We started off the afternoon with a customary getting-to-know, to get the kids to warm up to the volunteers. Apart from introducing themselves to the group, everyone was asked to share their favorite ice cream flavor, and what they will be doing this Christmas time. The kids delightfully shared their answers to our volunteers.
Once everyone had gotten to know one another, we proceeded with games! This one was a test of the Christmas songs knowledge – with a twist! One representative from the group had to hum a Christmas tune which they will guess the title of – while they had a mouthful of mamon! It was a funny and challenging time which bonded everyone quite well.
After the games, I was privileged to head a dance workshop, which all the kids really got excited about. The ates and kuyas gamely joined, and we started a warm-up routine, followed by a full choreography! It was so exciting to see both the kids and volunteers making their own moves during the freestyle portion.
A ventriloquist then followed, to entertain everyone after an energizing time of movement. He had with him a talking dog and a little boy for puppets, and we all had a grand time watching his act!
We then filled our tummies with lunch from McDo, and to cap off the day, we took a group photo to capture the amazing time we had. The Ramos family also generously donated grocery packs, which the kids for sure would love to eat come Christmastime.
Thank you so much to the Ramos family for sharing their blessings!
