Our friends from TPG Helpdesk know this for sure, spending their Christimas party by reaching out to the children of Little Lights Ministry (an outreach endeavoring to nourish the body, mind and soul of every child and their loved ones. They help them learn, be productive and be determined to live a righteous life in Jesus Christ.)
Gift of TIME:
Giving someone a great gift they’ll really treasure doesn’t have to mean dropping a ton of cash. Sometimes the best gift you can give to anyone is something you can’t buy in stores: your time. Coming from a graveyard shift, the TPG Helpdesk Team went straight to McDonalds, choosing to make the children happy instead of simply resting after work. Maximizing their time by getting to know the kids, dancing the famous Baby Shark, playing super fun games, eating together, and by giving their Christmas gifts.
Gift of LOVE:
“Give love on Christmas Day, no greater gift is there than love. What the world needs is love. Yes, the world needs more love…” Christmas indeed is all about the love of God for all of us, and sharing that love to others. It’s so heartwarming to witness the exchange of smiles and laughter between the volunteers and those children that they barely know. Shows us how powerful the gift of love really is -it connects, understands, and unites.
TPG Helpdesk has set an example on how we should celebrate the Christmas season: experiencing God’s love, mercy and graciousness in our lives then sharing that same love and mercy with others. The more we open our hearts and hands to those who are in need, the more we can make Christmas more meaningful and blissful.
