200 Summer Musical Workshop 1 with UNO Kids

Written by Kuya Harvard

We are very fortunate to have the team of Ms. Jeanie Sison proposing this series of workshops for a momentous recital for UNO Kids. Headed by Ms. Lilibeth Tupas, UNO Kids provide feeding program and school supplies assistance to Barangay 710 Zone 78 District V City of Manila. They also provide children’s right for education in the area and some neighbor barangays.

Its finally happening after months of discussion with Kuya Harvard. Day 1 of the workshop happened so fast. We had getting to know with the kids and volunteers through a few ice breaker games to make everyone comfortable with each other. We focused on the strengths and interest of the kids. Most of them are into dancing. Some even join barangay related events.  Good thing a number of them had skills in singing in our audition time.

We got to build good rapport with the kids on the first day. We look forward to getting to know them more on the 3 other workshops. Each day has almost 4 hours of training. We are positive that they will embody professionalism on the day that they will perform on stage. What a confidence builder this would be for them.

Please do join us on the succeeding workshops and of course our recital. Here are the information: Musical Workshops at Bahay Tuluyan (2218 Leveriza Street, Malate) on April 6, 13, 20 and 27 9AM-1PM. Recital, Kinect and Acting Games at CCF Makati (3rd floor A-Venue Mall, Makati Avenue) on May 11 10AM.
