214 World Vision Run 2013

Written by Kuya Harvard

Running is arguably one of the hottest sports in the country today. Some do it for health, some for the fun of it. But what if with every kilometer you run, you can help send a poor kid to school?

Following the success of its 1st charity run event last year, one of our partner beneficiaries, World Vision staged another race to raise funds for the benefit of 8,000 children who belong to some poorest communities in the country. Dubbed as the “most meaningful running event of the year”, proceeds will go to World Vision’s child sponsorship program. The farther you run, the more children you’ll be able to help!

World Vision Run 2013 was held last June 23, 2013 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig including World Vision celebrity ambassadors, for the 5K, 10K and 21K categories. Our core team and some volunteers took the challenge and ran for a cause as well.
