Last July 20, I was able to volunteer for the first time EVER. It was truly heart warming, fun, and the joy that I’ve seen in the kids’ faces was most all, unforgettable. It took me this immersion just to realize that by giving the kids time, it would already make them feel cared for and loved. As I was observing them (the kids), I saw how eager they were to learn something new that day. Nakakatouch na sa mga simpleng ngitian mo lang sila, kwentuhan mo sila, laruin mo sila, pinapakita nila in return na na-aappreciate nila yung mga ginagawa namin, especially nung paalis na after the event. Just like what Kuya Harvard said yesterday “Sometimes, people just really need to know that somebody cares.”
