Kuya Harvard’s brother, Herald approached us for a partnership with his team. It was a welcome partnership of the two siblings and the parties they represent. Early this year, Chef Him, another one of his brothers, also partnered for a fund raising event.
Herald works for Singularity, a solutions and IT related company. The same group of people is also part of the KFC group which includes Mister Donut and Tokyo Tokyo. Since the group is focused on IT, the event was geared on computer and internet lectures and workshop. One of the activities they did was to teach and set-up gmail accounts for the grade 6 students of Pinyahan Elementary School.
Besides the day of learning, their team also hosted games and talent show. The kids also joined and performed songs for the volunteers. More importantly, the Singularity team donated 3 computers for the school. “Pinyahan has 2,600 students and not 1 has access to computers,” says Kuya Harvard. “It’s a must to learn how to use it for their future,” he adds.
