October 11, 2014—at Barangay 178, Pasay City, first batch of Primer Group volunteers became part of the Business Leaders Engaged in Social Transformation (BLEST) event. In line with its Volunteerism Program, the Center for Outdoor Recreation and Expedition (C.O.R.E.) have partnered with Center for Community Transformation (CCT) and U!Happy Events to make this event possible. BLEST aims to open the eyes of people that it is good to help others, and be thankful for the blessings that they have. Most importantly, it aims to make participants aware of the realities of the poor and do something about it.
