Kuya Franz is the son of Ate Marife Villamin. Together with their family and his classmates, they celebrated his 12th birthday with kids of Metro World Child in Las Pinas. Yes, it was a trip that our team rarely takes. Although far, we were glad our team got to organize and witness this happy occasion.
Kuya Harvard got to lead a series of activities with siblings, Kuya Franz and Ate Carmeli, 19. They organized the program and we got to implement it together. The first on the agenda was Lego Movie while we wait for everyone. When all the guests arrived, we mixed them up into groups.
The afternoon’s approach was consistent to our goals in every event. That is to bring happiness through support, interaction and learning. We had three main activities: finger math, ball throw game and loom bands workshop. We got to teach and have fun in every part.
We ended with the family having a buffet style set up for food and distributing a number of gifts to every kid participant. Thanks to the Villamin family. Thanks as well to Living Faith in Jesus Ministry for the use of the venue. 🙂
