A ‘bibbidi-bobbidi-boo’ evening was in store for 16 lovely kids from Virlanie Foundation. U! Happy Events partner Ate Jen Uy, through her business, organized for these kids to watch Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Resorts World in Pasay City. Together with a handful of members from the U! Core team, the kids got to experience the dazzling production featuring Christian Bautista and Karylle.
Right off the bat, the kids’ excitement was overflowing with the sight of the elegant set and the glittering display of lights. As soon as the actors came out, the kids started waving at them hoping for a glance from the play’s stars. Even when they could not grab the actors’ attention, the kids intently watched and enjoyed the theatrical performance of music and literature.
Truly it was a unique experience for the kids. As the play ended, their energy was so high it was quite obvious that they could not wait to tell their friends about it. Most of them would probably be trying on their best shoes, or should we say ‘glass’ slippers, as soon as they got home.
