522 Kuya Raymond's Mural Workshop with Ospital ng Makati

Written by Kuya Harvard
A bright and colorful Saturday morning ensued at Ospital ng Makati as our team and volunteers came to bring happiness to children battling different illnesses. It was our 4th visit here to date since we started our partnership just late last year.
Another young Kuya willingly donated his hard earned money to partner with us for children. Kuya Raymond is on his early 20s! Upon meeting him for the first time, I couldn’t help but look back at my own outreach involvement early.
Kuya Raymond joined us with his mom and siblings. He was with friends as well. Our task that morning was momentous and memorable- we get to paint the ward with the help of the children. Our artist, Ate Blanca lead the dynamic workshop. She made sure everyone was guided and having fun at the same time.
From just black traces of desserts and candies on the light orange walls, we successfully challenged the groups to bring life to the room through multiple colors. Ultimately it was a better room because volunteers took the time to make it better.
This is our third mural in Ospital ng Makati. The first was last December and the most recent was January this year. Our task is to completely beautify the walls of the children’s floor. We have 2 rooms to go!
Thank you Kuya Raymond and family. We look forward to serving with you in future events. 🙂
