730 Kuya Paul’s Trampoline Park with Metro World Child

Written by Core Team Leader, Kuya Paulo Damian

Birthdays are always something that we look forward to every year. We gather our family and friends on this wonderful occasion to celebrate our special day with us. And what better way to do just that than to jump with joy. Literally. And that is exactly what Kuya Paul did for his birthday this year. But aside from his loved ones, he also invited 23 kids from Metro World Child. A combination of family, friends, kids, and jumping all morning was the perfect recipe to make Kuya Paul’s birthday extra special.
Before we entered the Trampoline Park, Ate Te and Kuya Glenn decided to break the ice first with a quick game called “How Far Can You Go”. Basically, the hosts will give a category and each group needs to give an item that belongs to that category but you can’t repeat something that has already been said. I was very surprised when Kuya Glenn gave the category “green vegetables” because the kids are still familiar with veggies like mustasa and talbos. I guess kids like to eat their vegetables!
We were supposed to play another game but we could feel the kids excitement to enter the park so we didn’t waste any more time and headed in. Everyone, including the ates and kuyas, started jumping around like crazy! It was so much fun to watch them just bouncing around and laughing. A crowd favourite was the foam pit where you could launch yourself from a trampoline and land into a huge pool of giant spongy foam cubes. The kids also enjoyed bouncing off a trampoline and dunking in the basketball area. Probably the biggest challenge for the ates and kuyas was keeping up with the kids’ energy. Our one hour inside flew by so fast as everyone had so much fun jumping around this new attraction in Greenfield District.
After that, it was time for us to head over to Splice Restaurant for our lunch. The kids enjoyed some delicious spaghetti and chicken wings. The morning ended with gift giving and an inspiring message from Kuya Paul. Truly, an interesting way to celebrate one’s birthday. This was a first for U! Happy Events but it surely won’t be our last trip to Trampoline Park.
