Connecting with 150 Cancer Kids of PGH & their Families.
Kids “Connect” was in partnership with Philippine General Hospital’s Social Service for Pediatrics. The event was fully supported by 44 volunteers from past 8 events. It started at Jollibee Taft Avenue fronting PGH for 55 Out Patient Cancer Kids with their parents. We started with an ice breaker of getting to know then a balloon twisting show by Joseph Imperial. Every kid received a balloon- most of them were formed as animals, flowers and toys. Two Magic show performances and a ventriloquist puppet show followed. The next part of the activity was in PGH Children’s Ward where all volunteers interacted and distributed gifts to 100 kids and their families. Majority of the pledge we received will go to Hospital Emergency Fund for Cancer Kids (through Cash Donation) and Medicines for Cancer.
