1082 Ate Rosemarie Celebrates with Elsie Gaches Village Outreach

Written by: Ate Denise Callanta, Core Team Member

The Elsie Gatches Village has always been a warm, heart-melting community. Visitors entering the premises will never leave the place empty handed as the residents of the community have always something to give, whether it be a hand-written letter or their own personal belonging. By definition, it appears to be an endearing sign of gratefulness and an unspoken plead to never forget them.
Ate Grey and the rest of her team made time to take the usual Fridays of the Elsie Gatches Residents into something extraordinary. The usual routines of the community were halted for a while so to enjoy a short program with their sponsors as hosted by Kuya Rich.
The Elsie Gatches Village is a community sheltering mentally challenged individuals of different ages. The program started with the sponsors introducing themselves. After the fun introductions, the exciting games and interactions came right after. There were spontaneous performances of Baby Shark and a bubble show. Albeit the small surprise that the benefactors were in fact older than what the sponsors have expected, the event still turned out to be a hit seeing that the residents of the community departed the place with an enormous beam.
December has always been a time of giving and receiving and here at the U! Happy Events, we are always glad to be the bridge between the sponsors who outpour their overflowing blessings to our benefactors. We celebrate your goodness and kindness along with the upcoming festivities in December, as you taught us how kindness is always contagious. Happy Holidays!
