We were supposed to have a sponsor for this event, she couldn’t make it, we still made it happen. Thanks to a group of volunteers who went our morning was another memorable experience.

The children we reach out to at Tahanang Walang Hagdanan are from their day care center. They are children of the adult workers at this center. Before we started Kuya Ramon gave rich and encouraging information to our volunteers.

We had Hula Hoop games to jump start our activity. We had Squeeze or Tap and one our famous games games Get In. The first game challenged the teams to identify if they were getting a squeeze or tap from each other. The next was all about quickness and team work. You just have to go through the hula hoop faster to win. It was a happy to sight to see even the young children engaged and interact with the rest of their groups.

Our main activity was under Kuya Robby Singh. He taught Dog Pop Up Card with the supervision of the volunteers. It was a far novelty compared to your usual cards- you get to the move the dogs tongue and its ears.

I told the kids, this a good opportunity to them to express their love and gratitude to their parents. There isn’t a need for an occasion to be able to do that.

After a quick brunch, as they are still in a huddle, we gave away story books as gifts. Thank you volunteers for being part of another happy memory. We look forward to having more events like these with you.
