335 Corazon Roxas Foundation’s Popsicle Boxes with Quirino Memorial Medical Center

Written by Kuya Harvard

Sunday afternoons are made more meaningful when we take the time to reach out to marginalized children. Thanks to regular sponsor, Corazon Roxas Foundation we got to bless kids battling illness at Quirino Memorial Medical Center. A number of volunteers and the guardians joined in the happy afternoon as well.

We had crafts making through the artistry of Kuya Robby and balloon twisting workshop by Kuya Ronel. A colorful and sophisticated box was formed through popsicle sticks and beads. Different shapes of animals and items were created through a balloon. The afternoon was about forming new things from something simple.

Kuya Harvard also joined in the fun through show me your emotions game. As the crowd was teamed up, they had to show an expression together. The most creative and cohesive team wins. Happy, angry, hungry, constipated and overjoyed was some of the emotions given.
After a full merienda we ended with a signature group photo! It was a shot that reminded each one of their love for one another.
