461 Ate Stevie’s Dance Workshop with Gentle Hands

Written by Kuya Harvard
It was a vibrant afternoon in another interactive encounter with orphaned children of Gentle Hands. 38 of them were present for another dance workshop session with them. The first one was held last May 2014.
Ate Stephanie contacted me for an event months back to celebrate her daughter, Ate Stevie’s 6th birthday. Like I mentioned in previous posts, we’ve been getting a number of moms do these for their children. It is certainly a way to educate and share the value of blessing others.
The whole family was present together with some close friends. We also got to invite students from DLSU to participate in our bubble show and dance workshop. Thanks to resident dancer and core member, Ren dela Cruz, the energy and happiness filled the corridors of Gentle Hands. The upbeat rythym of ‘Happy’ by Pharell Williams was indeed a fitting song for the whole experience.
