930 Ate Sherry, Ate Joy and Kuya Miguel’s Face Painting with Haven for Children

Written by Core Team Leader, Joms Lapira
Haven for Children, a national center for street children recovering from substance abuse, was the beneficiary of one of our events last March 25, 2017. It was made possible through the generosity of our sponsors, Ate Sherry, Ate Joy and Kuya Miguel. Thanks to Ate Sherry her sister and fiance was able to celebrate with us.
They chose to celebrate her birthday by volunteering for the kids of Haven for Children. Their family and friends joined us as well. We had a Face Painting workshop as our main activity and this was conducted by our expert artist, Kuya Eric. The volunteers took time by showcasing their artistic talents, or lack thereof, by painting on the kid’s faces. The kids and the kids-at-heart also enjoyed the games we prepared.
The highlight of the event was the warm reception of the kids, capped by a well-thought thank you note by the kids. We hope you too can bring joy to this orphanage, let us know if you are interested by contacting us at 0917 8874278.
