A special occasion can be made meaningful when celebrated with less fortunate kids. This is what we always believed in and we make sure that our volunteers have this kind of realization.

February 3, 2013 (Sunday) became not just a special day, but a very meaningful one for ate Nina and her daughter, Ate Chenee. They both celebrated their birthdays with 40 kids of Jesus Loves the Little Children Foundation.

The event was started with a nutritious lunch followed by games, which required teamwork and artistry amongst kids and volunteers. And yes, kids did had fun with their ates and kuyas.

The next activity was a song number by ate Mikkie (singer) and kuya Jed (guitarist), who are both members of Victory Christian Fellowship Worship team. Ate Mikkie serenaded the kids with different songs such as Yeng Constantino’s “Hawak Kamay” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful”. Each song was merrily sung by kids. It was truly amazing to hear kids singing their hearts out loud to songs that are so familiar to them. It was such a lovely scene to remember and it showed us how authentic our talents are when we were kids.

The event was ended with a magic show by Koby and a gift giving from our birthday celebrants. The entire event was filled with fun and happiness as each kid wore their best smiles and brought out their laughter. Good thing ate Nina and her family members chose to celebrate this particular day by sharing their love and their blessings to kids.
