270 Ate Miah Celebrates with Shepherd of the Hills

Written by Kuya Harvard

For the second straight Christmas year, Ate Miah Velarde visited and gave happiness to Shepherd of the Hills orphans. Last year, she went with her officemates. Since they were preoccupied, she decided to go and celebrate with a few friends and family instead.

Ate Miah has been part of MSI-ECS for years. Since its inception in 1998, MSI-ECS has carefully carved its reputation as one of the country’s leading providers of innovative and reliable computing solutions supported by competent and highly-professional workforce. It boasts an extensive array of solutions ranging from systems and peripherals, network and communications, multimedia and presentation, printing and digital imaging.

Since she is an expert of technology, Ate Miah took the lead in providing an interactive talk on the evolution of computers and websites. For every question answered, she gave a prize. This made the kids very interested in her sharing. We believe that the future of technology is very relevant and the young generation should have a grasped of it early on.

Kuya Harvard lead the game how high can you go. The teams lead by the volunteers got into it. We took awhile so we had to cut it short. We realized that competition is really alive with children. At noon time we served Italian specialties and got serenaded by the teens and kids from the orphanage. It was truly a delight to see them perform for our Ates and Kuyas.
