929 Ate Mary’s Balloon Twisting Workshop with John David Salvador

Written by Kuya Harvard
One of our avid beneficiaries in the recent year is John David Salvador. Our successful partnerships have been through our coordination with one of their directors, Ate Eunice. It just takes one text message to get the arrangement for an event done even in less than a week’s time.
Ate Mary Dabu is a returning sponsor and just like last time, she invited her closest loved ones to celebrate with 25 children ages 8-11 years old. We ran simple activities but are highly interactive and truly engaging with the volunteers. The main activity, balloon twisting workshop was both visually colorful and memorable as each one learned on how to twist balloons themselves.
A series of games were as fun and we used only simple materials to create so much interest. The small balls were used for relay while the hula hoops were for two other creative executions. The photos tell multiple stories- the reactions of smiles and competitiveness can be felt.
If you are interested to experience these just the same, please let our group know, and will gladly arrange for you an opportunity to share life to the marginalized children. Ate Mary, thank you for the love once again, God bless you! 🙂
