15 Ate Jo-e Celebrates with Rehoboth Orphanage

Written by Kuya Harvard

The Rehoboth Children’s Home is an orphanage run by Asian Hope Missionary Outreach. It was founded upon the Word of God, embracing those scriptures containing the Lord’s admonition to care for orphans. It is a ministry after God’s own heart, extending His hand to the Children whom He dearly loves. In attempting to alleviate the suffering and distress of children in the Philippines, the ministry is also a witness and an example of the carrying out of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You can check more of them at www.rehobothchildrenshome.com. They are located in Tanay, Rizal.

It was one of our very few out of town events. Ate Jo-e, one of our core team members, is also a board member of Rehoboth. Together with her friends and a small group from our end, we had an intimate event with the kids. The program was short and sweet. What made it an event to remember was the bonding with the children at that time. One of Jo-e’s friends even wore a costume for the kids.
