286 Ate Gladys Celebrates with Holy Family Home

Written by Kuya Harvard

In the last 2 years, Chinese New Year has been declared a national holiday. Ate Gladys chose to celebrate her birthday with family on this festive occasion. To stay in theme, we decided to have Chinese lanterns as the workshop and connected the team names and game with popular Chinese food, people, symbols and culture.
It was our third visit at Holy Family Home. The sisters who run the orphanage for 29 girls gave us another warm welcome. Sister Che even took the time to be with us the whole morning. We started with stretching lead by Kuya Harvard. It was followed by partnering and grouping for the games.

We played one of our most popular games in our list, pass the charades. Kuya Robby was next with his happy lecture on lanterns. Ate Labb added more energy with dancing.

The pictures says so much on the happiness that filled that morning. The venue got more color. All the volunteers stayed the whole time and plans to visit again. These moments are indeed precious and relevant. Join us on our next event here. 🙂
