918 Kuya Vi’s Enchanted Kingdom with Bahay Aruga and Philippine General Hospital

Written by Core Team Leader, Kristin Ramos
It was a fun-filled day at Enchanted Kingdom. Thanks to Mr. Vi Lim for sponsoring kids from Bahay Aruga. He has been a long time partner, serving with us the marginalized children for many years.
Kids along with their parents/guardians were so excited as we enter the theme park. We had our lunch at Eldar’s tent. After eating, the kids had their time to enjoy the rest of the day. It was a good thing that the park was not crowded and lines were fast moving. Therefore, everyone was able to explore different rides and attractions. Some of the kids were brave enough to try extreme rides like Air Race, Anchor’s Away and EKstreme Tower. They were also not afraid to get soaking wet for trying out Rio Grande Rapids. Some also tried all-time favorites, Bump Cars and Grand Carousel.
We assembled again for an afternoon snacks at the food court. As we eat and rest, we watched EK performers sing, dance, and do a comedy puppet show.
Then, it was time to go home. Everyone gathered at the park main entrance for a final group photo and thank Kuya Vi once again for sponsoring the event. Everyone left with happy faces. Indeed, “Magic lives forever” at Enchanted Kingdom!
