488 4/14 Pilipinas Mindanao Launch

Sourced from Partner, 4/14 Pilipinas
It was our honor and privilege to witness 350 delegates from 12 different provinces represented in Mindanao take part in our Mindanao launch of the 4/14 Window Pilipinas Movement last April 13 & 14 at the Davao City Foursquare Gospel Church. Newly installed National Director of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches, Bishop Noel Alba Pantoja, led a credible list of speakers.
The 4/14 Window refers to the demographic group ages four to fourteen, which is most open and receptive to every form of spiritual and developmental input. The 4/14 Window Movement is a global missions movement which helps churches and families build strategy, community and resources for empowering the next generation of Christian leaders. Birthed in New York City at the first 4/14 Window Global conference in 2009, this follows the 10/40 Window vision promoted so vigorously by Dr. Luis Bush. God is inspiring churches around the world to focus on children as a higher priority. It is time to gather and discuss HOW we can best accomplish our mission of loving, serving, training, and equipping the 4/14ers.
The 4/14 Window Pilipinas Movement was formally launched last April 14, 2014 at Victory Greenhills with the participation of various representatives from churches, NGOs and the academe. The National Steering Committee of 4/14 Window Pilipinas is composed of volunteers from different churches, ministries, organizations and denominations which give a high priority to children’s ministry. Following the Manila launch, the movement went North to Benguet in August 2014. It is time for the movement to go down South in 2015, first to Mindanao, and then to the Visayas. We pray and hope that you and members of your church or organization can join us in this global movement to Reach, Rescue, Root, and Release children into a relationship with Jesus Christ as partners in mission to their generation in the Philippines and around the world.
The conference divided itself further to 6 different tracks that specifically targets different influences. The Common and Over-arching theme for the Tracks is the Missional Focus on the 4/14 Window that results in Spiritual Transformation as we Reach, Rescue, Root and Release the 4/14 Generation.
